Your Build Process
As exciting as the build process is it can sometimes seem overwhelming, which is why at Evoca Homes we go that extra mile for all our customers. We are with you every step of the way during your build, to make sure your journey is an enjoyable experience for the whole family.
From your initial design appointment right through to handover, our team cares about you and your new home. Together, we work with you to ensure your brand-new home is exactly what you envisioned and a home you will love forever.
Base / Slab Stage
Welcome to the beginning of your new home. During slab stage the site is set out, plumbing / electrical is laid. The concrete slab is then poured, laying the foundations of your home.
Frame Stage
At frame stage your home starts to take shape with the construction and erection of all wall frames, roof trusses and tie down requirements.
Enclosed Stage
Enclosed stage focuses on all elements that form the external structure of your home. This includes brickwork, Colourbond roof or roof tiles, window frames, windows, external doors and gutters. Rough ins also occur where plumbing and electrical conduits are fixed
Fixing Stage
Inside your home starts to come together at fixing stage, as all internal linings are fitted. This stage involves plasterboard, skirtings, architraves, internal doors, tiling and all cabinetry installation. You’re already picturing what your furniture is going to look like inside.
Practical Completion
We’re almost there! During practical completion all internal and external finishing touches are completed, as well as plumbing and electrical fit offs. You are then required to meet your supervisor on site to attend your PC walk through prior to any final touches in preparation for handover.
Handover
After we receive your final payment it’s time to meet your supervisor at your new home for the hand-over process! You will be presented with your shiny new keys and all hand-over documentation. Then it’s time to say goodbye to us and hello to the that fresh home-owner feeling. You’re officially ready to move into your new home!!
